Nannies 4 Grannies Ltd Newsletter No 15 - Home Care and Companionship in Harpenden and St Albans - We hope you find it of interest.

A note from Kay....

Welcome to our Spring newsletter, the nights are already getting shorter (the days getting longer) by a few minutes every day which is enough to lift our spirits.

With Spring coming you might want to think about getting moving again, getting off the couch and see what is out there. To get going you could try ‘Extend’ sit down exercises or sit down yoga, you can get information from your local leisure centre or Community Group who hold these classes on a regular basis.

Or perhaps consider a walking group, look up ‘Hertfordshire Health Walks’ they have walking grades 1 to 4+ starting at a short, flat walks of 20-30 minutes increasing to 90 minutes so there is no excuse, get out there, take part in an activity and have fun!

We have been busy blogging this winter on older issues, ranging from 10 most common health issues, Navigating Life’s Challenges to our Spotlight on staff members. Why not drop by the website from time to time to see anything new.

Nannies 4 Grannies is 10 years old!

Nannies 4 Grannies Ltd, founded in 2014 by Kay and Shelley, stemmed from their first-hand experiences caring for elderly relatives. They recognised the challenge of finding reliable assistance from afar, inspiring them to establish a home care service dedicated to supporting senior parents and family members. Kay's extensive background in caring for individuals with special needs uniquely equips the company to provide empathetic and tailored care to the elderly, aiming to combat the prevalent issues of isolation and loneliness while promoting independence and fulfilment.

The company's core values reflect its vision of enabling elderly individuals to live safely and healthily in their own homes. These values emphasize client-centred care, fostering long-term relationships, providing high-quality service with respect and kindness, employing local staff with rigorous screening and training, and ensuring continuity of care by assigning consistent caregivers. Their approach recognises the sudden onset of caregiving responsibilities and offers a solution through comprehensive home care planning to support families in need of assistance.

We intend celebrating with our valued clients and amazing staff members later in the year - watch this space
