Welcome to our May newsletter. We've been busy!
It has come around too soon.. the Alzheimer’s Society walk happens this Saturday 18th May.
It means an early start for our fab team - Frankie, Yve, Jo, Louise, Ann, Cathy, Graham, Shelley, Ranjit, Andrew and Kay. We will be meeting on the train at 7:00am on our way to Larkhill Park, starting the walk at 9:10 on a 13-mile trek around Central London.
We have been meeting up regularly to prepare us and besides a few blisters we are confident and looking forward to it.
If you haven’t already please help us raise as much money as possible for the Alzheimer’s Society, just follow this link

Their research is vital in finding ways to treat this horrible disease.
We held an ‘Afternoon Tea’ for our clients and team at ‘Cornelia’s Café’ Church Green, Harpenden on Saturday 27th April. There was a steady stream of valued clients and staff attending who enjoyed tea and cake with Kay and Shelley. There was a real 'buzz' in the room as everyone chatted away!
Our N4G gazebo was set up outside in the garden but unfortunately the weather was too cold and gloomy for anyone to sit outside. We would like to thank all those who came along for making it a really fun occasion.
What a wonderful and record-breaking turnout at this year’s Senior’s Fair held at The Eric Morecambe Centre on 10th April.
It was a pleasure to be part of such an important event, hosted by The Harpenden Trust, that saw so many services come together in one place to support our older community.
There were stands ranging from social clubs to trading standards, and essential services such as medical and transport information. We were busy from the start of the event to the end, talking with lots of people from Harpenden and the surrounding areas who were either looking for some support for themselves, or for support for a family member.
It was great to see so many of our existing clients enjoying the event and we really appreciated you stopping by to say hello!
We are proud to announce that we will be raising money on behalf of The Alzheimer’s Society at the St Albans Market on Saturday 15th June 2024.
Our Nannies 4 Grannies gazebo will be placed just in front of ‘Five Guys’ on St Peter’s Street, so come along and join us for a chat and support this fantastic charity. There will be a chance to win a prize in our tombola, win sweets in our ‘Guess how many sweets’ game.
We will have staff with charity collection boxes dotted around St Albans, so they can also direct you to our location if you are having trouble finding us on the day!
We very much look forward to supporting The Alzheimer’s Society on the 15th June and we hope to see you there.
If you cannot make the day but would like to donate a new and unused item for our tombola, please contact Frankie on 01582 764305.
