Staff Spotlight – Claire

Hello, my name is Claire. I have mainly worked in childcare throughout my career, but I wanted to start going down a different career path. I decided to start working with older people because I love to be helpful and make a difference in people's lives. I often call it Grannies 4 Nannies instead of Nannies 4 Grannies because I think it goes both ways. I really enjoy spending time with clients and knowing that for the time I was with them it brightened their day. I find it very interesting finding out about the lives they have led. I miss having Grandparents and a father, so I get a lot out of my visits as well. I was offered training, which was very good and I find it a very rewarding job knowing I have helped different clients in a lot of different ways.
